Karen Henderson-Santolini (Ksan) KSan is a professional artist who has worked in oils watercolours, multimedia and sculpture over a period of 30 years. Currently, she is an artist working in the non-representational style in acrylics at the Neilson Art Centre in Etobicoke. Previously, she has pursued specialized studies at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in 1999 and other institutes of art since 1966. Her interests lie predominately in drawing and painting with some printmaking experience. She has conducted classes: Chalk and Chocolate that involved relaxation and the principles of drawing. In addition, she taught cartooning to children, made application to Arts Discovery with the Board of Education and developed some art programs for individuals in pain and children with Autism. She has shown her figurative work - A Show of Hands & her photographs of Egypt, Israel and Italy- From Eye to Hand at Neilson Park and the Mississauga Conservatory of Music. Other gallery submissions have been made to Arts Etobicoke and other centres.
